I'm the worst LJer ever.

Let's see what's been going on...

-I SHOULD graduate in May, provided I don't fail anything.

-My PR communications professor hates me.

-I'm considering graduate school.

-I've met so many interesting people. It's ridiculous.

-I have no idea what I'm doing with my life.

Basically. How are you, dear F-list?

Jun. 5th, 2011

I think I've done well in PR administration so far. I co-taught the class on the second day, and I had a lot of fun with it; I'm not afraid to make jokes in front of people, and honestly, I'm not as afraid to speak in public as most. Unfortunately, I had a horrendous allergy attack/cold thing going on that day, so I almost lost my voice.

I'm currently writing an audit of Time Warner. Batman, Andy Coops, etc. It would be lovely if it weren't so stressful.

Umm... What else? Oh, I've decided that if I do pursue a higher degree, it will probably be in Grady instead of law school. I really do love what I'm doing, and I can't imagine wanting anything else right now. People fascinate me, and I adore building relationships with them. That's basically the gist of PR: you get paid to make friends and talk with people. #winning

I've done this before.

Step 1: Post this into your LJ publicly.

Step 2: Others will reply anonymously about what they really think of you.

Step 3: Cry, because this meme is so brutal, and it hurts.

This... All of this...

Oh, and these were my final grades...

I have an overall GPA of 3.7. I'm sooo happy, you guys! It still looks like I'll graduate a semester late because of that medical leave last fall, but maybe a miracle will happen.

This is my schedule starting Monday:

Mondays are going to be fuuuuun.
-I've had a headache for the past five days. If I were a normal person, I'd take a pain reliever and/or go to the doctor. But no. I know pain relievers have almost no effect on me, and I'm too busy working to go to the doctor.
-I'm moving out today! Kelsey and I are both ridiculously happy because we'll be just down the hall from each other... Plus I won't have to listen to my roommate and her husband's ridiculously boring sex and have to worry about semen in the shower. Yay!

-I only have two grades so far: An A in dance and an A- in Italian. If all goes as planned, I'll have at least a B+ in both religion and public relations.

-I have been feeling crushed physically and emotionally lately. It's really stupid because A) I'm in remission, B) I've done better in school than any sane person would expect, and C) I have amazing friends and family. I suppose it's just this time of year. It gets most people down, and it's even worse when you're by yourself... Or you feel like you're by yourself. I'll get over it eventually, though.

-Hmm... What else? Oh, yes, try to get your addresses to me by the 20th if you still want a card. ♥
What quote(s) best describe your life and/or current feelings?
School started again on Monday.

Religion is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It's pretty cool so far. The teacher is a darling older man with slightly spastic tendencies and a great sense of humor. Plus, I have the class with Kelsey, so that's definitely a bonus.

I have Italian II every day but Friday. The professor says maybe two sentences in English during each class, and all of the students forgot what we learned in Italian I over the summer. Dr. Kilpatrick is nice, and every time he displays something on the projector, we get to see his wallpaper, which is an absolutely adorable picture of his son eating an apple.

I have dance appreciation on Tuesday and Thursday. The teacher has an ideal dancer's body, and she's hilarious. If you are friends with me on Facebook and notice a lot of status updates around noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they're usually quotes from the class. She also gets us to think about things in a different light, which I always love.

I also have public relations on Tuesdays and Thursdays (yes, those days are torture). Dr. Reber even admits that he's not sure what will come out of his mouth sometimes. He conducts the class kind of like a talk show where the host interacts with the audience on a regular basis.

While I'm not in class, I work (still loving the job and my co-workers) and bond with my super sweet new roomie Amy. Oh, and I hang out with my amazing family and friends. I honestly think that I'm in the best place ever with my friends. We don't take advantage of each other and don't walk on eggshells. I don't feel drained after I talk to any of them, and I'm not afraid to voice my concerns. I don't feel like a therapist; I feel like a friend, an equal. That's what happens when you find people who actually act their ages or even older instead of... You know... Twelve.

I'm finishing up my application to Grady on Tuesday by writing an essay about why I'd be a good addition to the school. Any suggestions?

Oh, and I made Dean's List this semester! Considering the fact that I couldn't even get out of bed about a year ago, I feel pretty beast.
